A Gyékényes és Környéke Horgász- és Szabadidő Egyesület

Küldetésünk, hogy Gyékényes környéke és Somogy megye fejlődéséhez, az itt élők életfeltételeinek, életminőségének javításához segítséget nyújtsunk az egyesületben végzett társadalmi szerepvállalásunk által.

Ennek érdekében kiemelt figyelmet fordítunk az egészséges életmódra nevelésre, a szabadidő kulturált eltöltésének a biztosítására, a horgászat, a versenyhorgászat, horgászsport népszerűsítésére és fejlesztésére, az egyesületi tagság horgászérdekeinek képviseletére és védelmére, valamint a kedvező horgászlehetőségek megteremtésének elősegítésére, a tagság igény szerinti ellátására a horgászathoz szükséges okmányokkal, a horgászoknak, a horgász erkölcs és etika írott és íratlan szabályainak betartására és betartatására szolgáló ismeretek közreadására, a természet védelmére, kiemelten a horgászvíz és az abban található élővilág, valamint a vízpart tisztaságának megóvására.

A few weeks ago I visited my friend Laci Kápolna in Gyékényes to go fishing together. I was fishing with sausage and spicy liver boilies from the Magic Maggot boilie palette. The water showed quite an interesting face, as during the tour we caught more than 60 small carp weighing around 2-5 kg. There was a day when the indicator rig alarmed every 40-50 minutes. Despite this, we managed to hook a nice scaly over 10 kg. There was a day when the signal sounded every 40-50 minutes. Last weekend I participated in a 48-hour rapid fishing. I arrived on Friday shortly before noon. A quick assembly was followed by a long search for a place. By 3 o'clock in the afternoon, the rigs were also in their place. As a member of the AS baits team, I only used boilies for baiting and feeding! I used AS baits Slink on one rod and Loco on the other. I caught a fish on the Slink before 8am on Saturday morning. We managed to hook an 8.20 kg carp.

It will be quite a memorable weekend for me as I caught the biggest Koi carp of my life. With a short introduction, I will illustrate why catching this special fish is so interesting. The lake in Gyékényes is a 400-hectare mining lake with lots of humps and fractures (think of it as an egg tray). Here you have to choose which place, which side and at what depth you want to place your bait. That is why it is difficult to catch a fish. The water has been planted since the 1970s, so over the years, such special fish could have been added to it through the fish plantings.
