Bookings for named fishing spots can be made for the fishing positions marked with yellow numbers on the map, specifically positions 5–31.

Bookings are handled by our customer service.

We can only register a booking if you provide the date and time of your arrival and departure, the desired fishing position number, as well as the number of anglers and accompanying persons.

Fishing permits can also be purchased in advance through our customer service.

If you wish to book a fishing spot or purchase a fishing permit in advance upon arrival at the holiday row, please indicate this by filling out the form below, and we will contact you. Alternatively, you can call our customer service at +36 30 717 8560.

In accordance with Hungarian regulations, every angler must possess a valid Hungarian state fishing document and catch logbook in order to obtain a “Territorial Fishing Permit”.

If you have not yet obtained your state document for the current year, we are happy to assist you in this process. For Hungarian citizens, issuance of the state permit requires a valid fishing examination certificate. For foreign citizens, a valid fishing license from their home country is accepted in place of the fishing examination.

Your personal data is only requested if you do not yet have a registered angler profile on the HORINFO system . The sale of state and territorial permits through our customer service is also processed via the horgaszjegy.hu website.

On the HORINFO website , only general territorial permit types valid for shore fishing with 2 rods or for the holiday row can be purchased directly from angler user profiles. Annual territorial permits and territorial permits for named fishing positions requiring booking can only be purchased exclusively through our customer service, in order to avoid overlapping bookings.

Filling out the form below will make the administrative process simpler and faster for you, while facilitating more efficient work for us, enabling us to validate your booking and prepare for the issuance of fishing permits. This means no additional administration will be required on your part, and you will not need to wait at the sales point.

Upon arrival, you will not lose valuable time purchasing your fishing permit, allowing you to focus immediately on relaxation and fishing at the waterside!

BOOKING PROCEDURE:

Our customer service will contact you by telephone to confirm the available fishing position, the desired permit type, and the dates. (If you contact customer service directly without submitting the form, we will complete the form on your behalf. The information provided in the form is required for issuing invoices and fishing documents. Your data will not be disclosed to third parties and will be used solely for managing your booking.)
You will receive notification by email regarding the booking/purchase offer.
Transfer the booking amount to the operator’s bank account specified in the offer.

(The full amount must be transferred. The sent offer does not constitute a payment obligation, but your booking will not be validated until payment is received. The payment deadline is 7 working days or an individually agreed date upon request. Paid amounts are non-refundable. However, the booked fishing session will not be forfeited even if unforeseen circumstances prevent your attendance. In such cases, we will reschedule your booking free of charge at the applicable rate in effect at the time. This means the paid amount will not be lost and can be used at a later date. Until payment is received, we will provisionally reserve the position for you within the payment deadline and will not offer it to others. If the payment deadline specified in the offer expires, the booking will be considered void, not validated, and the fishing position will be made available for sale to third parties.)

Upon receipt of the amount in the bank account, we will issue the invoice and prepare the fishing documents and territorial permits.
The documents (invoice and permits) will be sent to you in a confirmation email. This validates your booking/purchase.
It is not necessary to print the permits; they will be handed over to you upon arrival. They may also be presented in electronic form during inspections.

Named fishing positions and sport (boili) permits can also be obtained on the day fishing commences, subject to availability of free spots; however, it is advisable to book in advance a few days prior to arrival. By planning ahead, we can ensure that the moments upon arrival are devoted to fishing rather than administrative procedures!

Details and prices of named fishing positions:

The private areas associated with fishing positions PEG 5–31, where tent and/or caravan stays take place, are subject to prior booking. (Similar to renting accommodation from the private owner in the case of fishing houses.) The table below provides an overview of how many anglers may fish from each named position and the corresponding fee for that position. For more detailed information, click on the yellow marker number on the map; a pop-up window will display photographs, videos, and technical details about the position.

Bookings can be made for any number of days; there are no fixed sessions.

Booking fees are charged for every full calendar day.

If the fishing position is available before and/or after the booked period, arrival and/or departure may take place from 18:00 on the evening before the first booked day and/or until 08:00 on the morning after the last booked day. This will be confirmed with customer service and recorded in the booking offer.

A sport fishing permit must be purchased in addition to the booked area. If you wish to take fish away in accordance with the conditions permitted by the Local Fishing Regulations, this can be done by purchasing a general territorial permit.

For accompanying persons over 18 years of age, a daily territorial usage fee of HUF 3,500 is charged.

Occupation of named fishing positions upon arrival

Named fishing positions may only be accessed from the direction of the mine entrance in Sector A, where the former mine entrance has an open barrier.

Entry to the area is permitted only after obtaining permission from the guard service and upon possession and presentation of the territorial and fishing permits. Parking is allowed within the mine area only in the designated parking spaces during the validity period of the territorial permit. For booked shore positions, parking is permitted directly at the fishing spot by the waterside. Temporary placement of caravans or tents is possible exclusively for the duration of the fishing session, subject to prior telephone coordination, and only at the designated, booked named position.

Upon arrival, the guard service must be contacted at +36 30 389 4936 or +36 30 425 6194. Our colleague will assist on-site with accessing the booked position and provide directions.

Where can I purchase a fishing permit? In person at the GUARD HOUSE, RECEPTION, ENTRANCE TO FISHING POSITIONS: Nagy Ponty Horgász Guard House, Gyékényes, Sector A, former mine entrance A/1A

When? Every day of the year (including public holidays and weekends), from Monday to Sunday, 8:00–20:00.

If our colleague is not at the guard house, they have likely gone out to the lake; please call the telephone numbers displayed at the entrance, and they will arrive within a few minutes. Thank you!

Information, functions, and prices of territorial permit types effective from January 1, 2026

The option to purchase an annual permit is recommended, following prior consultation, for those who fish from the holiday row with shore fishing using 2 rods for at least 50 days per year, or with boili or other fishing methods for at least 34 days per year.

The number of annual permits issued is limited, and when selling them, we take into account the sector in which they will be valid, in order to minimise overcrowding and any inconveniences arising from crossed casting lines.

Anglers holding an annual permit are obliged to tolerate the fishing activities of fellow anglers using daily permits on the same shore section, in accordance with the designated casting directions.
